The global pandemic plunged the entire hospitality industry into crisis. For many years our artisans had supplied bed linens to the best hotels in Italy. With the pandemic they were suddenly forgotten. But not from two friends. Matteo and Davide asked themselves: "Why should only hotels have access to such high-quality bedding?" This is how Dalfilo was born in 2020. Now Dalfilo products are also available in the United Kingdom and can be ordered with one click.

The city of Bergamo is sadly remembered around the world for what happened during the pandemic. But few know that it is also the Italian cradle of household textiles. It is right here that Dalfilo is born and where products are designed, crafted, and woven, passing down unique technical skills from generation to generation, recognised worldwide.

Matteo and Davide realise that current eCommerce business models are not a threat to artisans but rather an opportunity to achieve their dream: making artisanal household linens accessible to everyone. Technical skills grow beyond physical space. The artisans' history and passion must be communicated online to the whole world. The quality of Made in Italy travels beyond borders. This is the 2.0 workshop; this is Dalfilo.
